Macaws Purple/Sage Vintage Cinema Seats

A striking set of two original vintage cinema seats which have been fully refurbished and reupholstered in ‘Macaws’ velvet by Mallion and Knowles.  The velvet is 100% plush polyester velvet, super soft to the touch but very hard wearing. 

The design of 'Macaws' was inspired by a lodge hotel in the Amazon Rainforest were they kept 10 rescued incredibly beautiful Macaws.

The refurbishment includes;

• Metal legs professionally shot blasted & powder coated
• All wood fully stripped and professionally stained and varnished
• All internal upholstery has been replaced
• Upholstered in 100% polyester velvet
• Seats mounted onto a solid wood plinth

Double Seats - Width 115cm (at widest point which is the plinth)

Height 81cm (including plinths)

Depth 60cm when open, approx 50cm with seats closed

Condition;

Refurbished but they retain some dings and dents, they have lived a life and have a story to tell but we think that is the beauty of buying vintage items, each one is unique!
