A set of two ex display original vintage cinema seats which have been fully refurbished and reupholstered in ‘Paradise Lost' blue velvet by Myrtle & Mary. The velvet is soft and lovely to the touch. The seats are piped and panelled in hot pink 'Folly Omega' velvet, by Linwood which contrasts fantastically with the pale blue and makes the pinks in the pattern pop!

These seats are part of our ongoing collaboration with 'Myrtle and Mary'. We worked with Myrtle & Mary's art director Carrie to have the designs resized to fit perfectly on our cinema seats. Having been admirers of the Myrtle and Mary brand since it launched during lock down we are so proud to now being working with them.

Our vintage cinema seats are perfect as hallway seating as they are narrow and don't take up too much room, they are also a perfect statement piece of furniture. It is so lovely to be able to mix vintage items in contemporary spaces, a great way to make your personality show in your home. Cinema seats also make great occasional seating in lounges and bedrooms, or to place in an alcove as a cosy reading nook, the possibilities are endless.

Refurbishment included;

* All metal work professionally shot blasted and powder coated.
* Woodwork fully stripped of all old varnish and stain.
* Wood freshly stained and varnished
* All old upholstery stripped and replaced with new.

The seats are mounted onto wood plinths to stabilise them, and it is not usually necessary to fix to the floor but there are holes in the feet if you wanted to do that.

Refurbished but they retain some dings and dents, they have lived a life and have a story to tell but we think that is the beauty of buying vintage items, each one is unique!
