Amazon Trip Vintage Cinema Seat With Side Table

A stunning original vintage cinema seat which have been fully refurbished and reupholstered in ‘Amazon Trip’ velvet by Becca Who, along with midnight blue velvet piping and panel.  The velvet is 100% polyester and is super soft to the touch but is hard wearing.   The seat came out of a cinema where it had been used as a Bingo hall and they had added small side tables.  When we purchased the seats we replaced the table top with new wood but kept the size and shape the same. 

Fabric 

'Amazon Trip' in Midnight Blue is a rich and exotic design, filled with painterly artwork. An exuberant take on an adventurous riverboat trip through the Amazon jungle.  The majestic Jaguar is celebrated as a dramatic focal point, amongst Rainbow Boas, Macaws and the added charm of Monkeys, all with a backdrop of flowers and lush foliage.

The midnight colour way is a beautiful palette with a deep, muted blue background enjoying rich rusty reds amongst an array of lush green hues with gold highlights.

The refurbishment includes;

• Metal legs professionally shot blasted & powder coated
• All wood fully stripped and professionally stained and varnished
• All internal upholstery has been replaced
• Upholstered in 100% polyester velvet
• Seats mounted onto a solid wood plinth

Depth 60cm when open, approx 50cm with seats closed

Condition;

Refurbished but they retain some dings and dents, they have lived a life and have a story to tell but we think that is the beauty of buying vintage items, each one is unique!
