Le Cirque Du Monde Vintage Cinema Seats Set of Two - Unseen Icons X Myrtle and Mary

A set of two original vintage cinema seats which have been fully refurbished and reupholstered in ‘Le Cirque Du Monde'  velvet by Myrtle & Mary.  The velvet is  soft and lovely to the touch.  The seats are piped in forest green velvet and panelled in a leopard print velvet designed by Myrtle and Mary as well. 

These seats are part of our ongoing collaboration with 'Myrtle and Mary'.  We worked with Myrtle & Mary's art director Carrie to have the designs resized to fit perfectly on our cinema seats.  Having been admirers of the Myrtle and Mary brand since it launched during lock down we are so proud to now being working with them.  We love the fact that each design has a stroy behind it....

Our vintage cinema seats are perfect as hallway seating as they are narrow and don't take up too much space, while being a perfect spot to perch and put your shoes on or off.  The refurbished cinema seats make great occasional seating in lounges or kitchens or perhaps a reading nook in an alcove or on a landing. The cinema seats are a perfect piece of statement furniture, mixing vintage items in contemporary spaces is a great way to make your personality show in your home.

Refurbishment included;

* All metal work professionally shot blasted and powder coated.
* Woodwork fully stripped of all old varnish and stain.
* Wood freshly stained and varnished
* All old upholstery stripped and replaced with new.  

The seats are mounted onto wood plinths to stabilise them, and it is not usually necessary to fix to the floor but there are holes in the feet if you wanted to do that.

Refurbished but they retain some dings and dents, they have lived a life and have a story to tell but we think that is the beauty of buying vintage items, each one is unique!
